As a smart security company, Ring strives to make safety and peace of mind accessible to everyone and empower communities to work together for one another. The Product Experience (PX) team works to create accessible documentation for our neighbors (Ring Help).
role
Alongside the PX Design team, I designed device user education assets for global technical publications for cohesive user experiences across international regions, streamlining and standardizing product documentation through product illustration and publication typesetting.
Due to NDA confidentiality, I am unable to share full client details and visuals.
Day-to-day workflow
I worked primarily in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Cinema 4D. Content was written by Luis Almendarez, the UX technical writer, in collaboration with industrial designers, product managers, compliance, and legal teams. Final design layouts were reviewed and approved by Ryan Anderson and Collin Chow.
